In May 2008, Rev. Mother John Britto Mary was elected Superior General, accompanied by five Councillors. The governance team was under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Amaladass Manickam, O.F.M., appointed by the Dicastery.
Each Province was managed by a Provincial and her Councillors, under the guidance of Rev. Fr. A. Louis and the Dicastery. Notably, the Rule of the Third Order of St. Francis of Assisi was added to the Congregation’s book of Constitution, enriching the Congregation’s spiritual foundation.
To support and extend ministries at the community level, a branch of lay associates called Immaculate Associates was founded in 2009, fostering greater lay involvement in the Congregation’s mission.
